As of March 18th, all visitors will be asked to use designated entrances and will be subjected to screenings for temperatures and flu-like symptoms. Anyone with a fever of 100 degrees or higher will be asked to visit over FaceTime or Skype. If you have elective health care procedures coming up, please consider delaying those.

Any patient visitor with respiratory symptoms should stay home. Strongly recommended limiting the number of visitors to two per patient. May screen visitors for signs and symptoms of infection. Beginning Monday, March 16, screening all patients, visitors, vendors, contractors and guests prior to entering any of our offices. This screening is comprised of a brief survey and all individuals who are determined to be a low risk for exposure to the coronavirus will be issued a “sticker” to be worn during the duration of their visit to Campbell Clinic. This step will provide an additional measure of safety to others potentially coming in contact.

Beginning Monday, March 16, screening all physicians, providers, employees, and authorized residents and other personnel. This screening is comprised of a brief survey and all personnel who are determined to be a low risk for exposure to the coronavirus will be issued a “sticker” to be worn, affixed to their name tag or name badge at all times. This sticker is to remain visible to patients, guests, and other personnel.

Introducing rigorous additional cleaning procedures, increasing the number of wipes, hand sanitizers, and other cleaning materials available at entrances, reception and check in and throughout our offices and other facilities for patients, guests, visitors, physicians, and employees to use.

Eye Specialty Group

Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, Eye Specialty Group and our four affiliated ambulatory surgery centers will no longer follow normal business hours.

We fully support the CDC’s efforts to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 virus. To protect the health of our patients and our employees, our facilities are following national guidelines and postponing elective, non-urgent surgeries and limiting in office patient visits to only urgent and emergent matters. Home Instead CAREGivers receive specific training on reducing the risk of illness that we continue to revisit and reemphasize with our teams. And just as we always do, we are encouraging our CAREGivers and staff to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidance for preventing the spread of illness, the foremost being hand washing, staying home when sick and following precautions when working with clients who are sick.

Out of an abundance of caution, effective immediately, each patient may have one visitor per day, and he or she must be a family member. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to visit. All visitors must enter and exit the building through our main entrance located off of Park Avenue or through our emergency room entrance. These guidelines are also applicable to outpatient imaging and testing.

In addition, a patient who is a PUI (Person Under Investigation) or has a confirmed case of COVID-19 cannot accept visitors.

Stern Cardiovascular Foundation

We are rescheduling many non-urgent patient appointments. You may receive a call before your appointment asking questions about potential symptoms or exposure. We are essentially closing our reception area. If you are not a patient, please wait in your car or drop off your patient and return at the end of the appointment.
