Collierville is home to so many wonderful local businesses. Owned and operated by our neighbors, now is an important time to support them. Tour Collierville is live-tracking local churches, gyms, medical, restaurants, and retailers that have made operational changes due to the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Central Church

Central Church’s facilities as well as the Central Learning Center are closed until April 5th. Counseling ministries will continue to operate online only, but all other activities and events will be cancelled at this time. Services can be streamed online at 9:30am and 11:00am at centralchurch.com/live. Easter events are pending at this time.

Church of the Holy Apostles

As of March 17th, Church of the Holy Apostles will suspend worship and gatherings for at least two weeks.

  1. The church office will be open Monday and Tuesday, 9:00 am -12:00 pm.  You may drop off items for the food drive during those hours.
  2. The church will be open from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Sunday for anyone who wishes to come pray.  You may drop off items for the food drive then.
  3. All events, gatherings and activities will not meet for the foreseeable future.
  4. We will continue to communicate and connect through emails and social media.
  5. You will receive a copy of the new parish directory. This is a tool to keep up with and check on one another.
  6. Father Clay will provide a list of resources for daily prayer, Bible Study and our plan to offer a video homily each Sunday.
  7. Online giving remains available.

Collierville Christian Church

Collierville Christian Church will worship online until future notice. Join together via Facebook Live on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. combining both contemporary and traditional services. Check their Facebook page for more information about Holy Week services.

All Sunday afternoon services at Brookdale Assisted Living will be canceled for the time being. Bible Study “Road to the Cross” on Wednesday nights is online available on the Collierville Christian Facebook page or Morgan Parks channel on YouTube for more information!

Collierville First Baptist Church

Collierville First Baptist Church is live-streaming its services until further notice. Before April 5th, they will pass out Lord’s Supper meals to members of the congregation.

Collierville First Pentecostal Church

Collierville First Pentecostal Church will hold Sunday services online until further notice. Due to the current pandemic, we may adjust some of our services. Please stay tuned to this page or our website for any schedule changes. They also:

1. Encourage anyone who is sick, or has been exposed to anyone that is sick, to stay at home.
2. If you need help ( food, medicine, toiletries) and cannot get out please let me know and we will arrange to get you the help you need.

They will not have their scheduled homecoming event March 27-29.

Collierville Presbyterian Church

As of March 19th, Collierville Presbyterian Church will suspend all activities, including outside groups and church gatherings. Worship services will be streamed online at 10:30am on Sunday mornings. Giving can be made via Paypal, automatic bill pay or checks can be mailed in.

Collierville United Methodist Church

CUMC has suspended Sunday worship services, Sunday School, and all other Sunday morning activities until at least April 26th. Instead, the church will be live-streaming a service at 10:45am on Sunday mornings. Click here to read the full post.

 

Compassion Church

Compassion Church will not have any gatherings of over 10 people for the next 15 days. We will be broadcasting the service at 9am & 11am on the Facebook page.

This Easter we are making the most of not being able to meet! We are going to be making Easter Bags! These bags will include pre-packaged communion cups, a script for communion, sermon notes to follow along, Compassion Kids Easter supplies and more!

We will be passing the bags out at the church April 8th-April 11th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We will also be able to deliver these bags as well, please let us know if you need delivery!

Covenant Baptist Church

Covenant Baptist Church has cancelled all events through March 31st, including Wednesday night services. The staff is working towards broadcasting a Sunday morning worship service via Facebook Live and our usual audio streaming option. Please plan to gather at home with your family at 10:30 Sunday morning for worship.

Dwelling Place International Church

Epiphany Lutheran Church

Epiphany Lutheran Church’s Sunday worship services have been canceled until Palm Sunday.

Faith Lutheran Church

Faith Lutheran Church (LCMS) has temporarily suspended all public worship and gatherings. The church office will remain open Monday – Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  Online worship will be offered Sunday morning on our website at faithcollierville.com.  We will continue to communicate through emails and the church website.

Germantown Baptist Church

All activities scheduled for the next two weeks are suspended. Worship services will be held online at 10:30am. They also have prerecorded worship services on their website.

Grace Evangelical Church

Streams of Sunday services are available on Grace Evangelical Church’s website. Sermons and music can be found online as well.

Wednesday night services will be video recordings accessible to public at 6:30pm and and Sunday morning services is a live stream that will start at 10:55am. Find these links via their website.

Grace Hill Church

Church gatherings – including Sunday gatherings, student gatherings, and other events – have been suspended until further notice. They ask their patrons to pray everyday at 10:15am, donate to those in need in their community, and gather via video every Sunday.

Highpoint Church Collierville

9:00am and 11:00am Sunday services are available online at highpointmemphis.com.

Incarnation Catholic Church

The Catholic Dioceses of Memphis has suspended all masses until further notice. We will be live streaming daily Masses at 8:30 am starting tomorrow, March 18, and Sunday Masses at 10 am (English) and at 11 am (Spanish) on the Catholic Church of the Incarnation Facebook page.

  •  If you would like to spend some time in private prayer and adoration in front of the tabernacle our Saint Therese Chapel will remain open, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 12(noon) to 4 pm. Please remember to maintain strict social distancing.
  • For private confessions and Anointing of the Sick, please contact the parish office to schedule a time with a priest.
  • Palm Sunday is April 5. We will bless palms at our Vigil Masses on Saturday and have them laid out in the open Church on Sunday, for all to pick up their palm. Please remember to maintain strict social distancing. (Mass live stream in English and Spanish will be announced at a later time).
  • Our Social Ministry is asking you to help keep their Food Pantry stocked during this time. Most needed items are: jelly, canned meats, rice, mashed potatoes and spaghetti sauce. Our church will accept donations Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm. Our Social Ministry staff will come to your car to get the groceries when you arrive and call (901)853-8574. This is the same phone number you can provide to those in need that you may come across.
  • Once again, please remember that these closures are a large financial hit for all the parishes in the diocese and we really need your support. If you can, please consider donating online at http://Bit.ly/icc-online or send a check to our parish office. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Kirk Baptist Church

Kirk Baptist Church is streaming its services via Facebook Live. They have cancelled their Wild Game Dinner, initially scheduled for March 21.

Peace Tree UMC

Sunday morning worship service will be suspended until further notice. Small/house group gatherings and other church activities will be suspended as well. Services will be live-streamed on Facebook at 10:00am on Sunday mornings, and bible studies will also be live-streamed.

Piperton Baptist Church

After prayer and much counsel, we will again cancel all “on-site” PBC activities for this Sunday (Mar. 29th) and next Wednesday (April 1st). We will continue to make decisions for future gatherings on a week-by-week basis. You will be able to view our Sunday Worship Service ONLINE by 9:00 AM March 29th. As a church, we obviously still have financial needs and have provided a link to our online giving platform at www.pipertonbaptist.com/give.

Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church

Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church is closed until March 30th. There will be no worship services, meetings, or Bible studies. The church has asked their parishioners to socially isolate themselves.

Saint Patrick Presbyterian Church

Saint Patrick Presbyterian Church has cancelled all in-person events through March and will move to online streaming services. Wednesday evenings at 8am will be a weekly Facebook Live hymns and prayer service, and Ladies’ Bible study will be live-streamed on Thursday mornings at 9:30am. Our church office will remain open and our leaders are here to assist anyone in need.
