October 13th, Halloween Movie Night at Shelby Farms
The Halloween festivities start early at Shelby Farms! Casper will be showing at 6:15 PM and The Shining will be showing at 8 PM. The cost is only $10 per vehicle, and food trucks will be on site!
October 19th, Boo Grass Family Festival at CUMC
The Boo Grass Family Festival begins at 5 PM at the Collierville United Methodist Church and will feature rides, bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, local craft vendors, trunk or treat, and live music! This family-friendly event is free, and costumes are definitely encouraged!
October 19th-21st, 26th-28th, & 31st, Zoo Boo at the Memphis Zoo
Zoo Boo is back with hayrides, straw mazes, magic shows, candy stations, and much more! This event is fun for all ages and begins on each day above at 5:30 PM.
October 20th, Fall Fun Fest at Carriage Crossing
This event begins bright and early at Carriage Crossing with the annual 5K starting at 8 AM, and the Family Fun Run starting at 9 AM. The rest of the festivities will begin at 10 AM around the mall and will feature food trucks, inflatables, games, face painting, a pet costume contest, trick-or-treating, and so much more! Proceeds benefit the Collierville Education Foundation’s Teacher Grant Program.
October 20th, Boo Bash at ICS
The 9th Annual Boo Bash at Incarnation Catholic School is a fun, free, family-friendly event that will feature moon bounces, a rock climbing wall, a video game truck, a haunted house, carnival games, face painting, and more! The fun begins at 6 PM, and costumes are encouraged!
October 20th, Halloween Carnival at the Germantown Community Library
This event features carnival style games, carnival foods, and even a costume parade. Festivities begin at 2 PM at the Germantown Community Library, and be sure to come in costume!
October 20th & 21st, Boos and Booze at Shelby Farms
Make sure to pack a tent for this spooky all night event! You can spend your night sipping witch’s brew, learning about the haunted legends of the Farms, meeting the spirits, taking a haunted hike, and more. This 21+ event begins at 5 PM, and, if you make it through the night, you’ll be rewarded with a tasty breakfast on the Farms.
October 24th, Historical Haunts at the Burch Library
The Burch Library is hosting a ghost hunting training course beginning at 6 PM. Emily and Steven Guenther of the TAPS Family Members will be teaching guests about the basics of ghost hunter, ghost hunting equipment, and some of their paranormal encounters. Register in advance on the Library’s website!
October 26th, Scare on the Square on the Town Square
The annual Scare on the Square, hosted by The Junior Auxiliary of Collierville, is back for more tricks and treats. This family-friendly event is a fun, safe event on the Town Square beginning at 4 PM and will feature crafts, games, food, face painting, and trick or treating. Be sure to come in costume, and you can donate school supplies to the Collierville Municipal Schools!
October 26th, Story time with the IRIS Orchestra at The Morton Museum
The Orchestra will be telling Halloween stories starting at 10:30 AM. Following the story, the orchestra members will let the kids have a close-up look at all of their instruments, and they will explain how they work!
October 27th, Flick or Treat at the Botanic Gardens
The Botanic Gardens will be hosting a fun-filled night featuring treat-or-treat stations, movies, and activities beginning at 5 PM! It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown starts at 7:15 PM, and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride starts at 7:45 PM. Kettle corn, food truck concessions, photo ops, and adult beverages will also be available.
