Chamber Music Series Still Going Strong

BY Regan Hewitt

The Chamber Music Series at the Sanctuary on the Square is ramping up the rest of its 2020 season, with two events in November! As usual, all concerts are free of charge.

On November 8th at 3:00pm, the Chamber Music Series will introduce the first ever “Young Artist Series,” which will showcase talented high school musicians who are excelling in their fields. The featured performer for the concert is pianist Ruth Kirsch, who is a senior at Westminster Academy. Doors will open at 2:30pm.

Later this month, on November 22nd, the University of Memphis Graduate Brass Quintet will perform at Sanctuary on the Square. Under the direction of Dr. David Spencer, the performance will start at 7:00pm and the doors will open at 6:30pm.

The Chamber Music Series asks attendees to follow COVID-19 guidelines, so that everyone can enjoy the best possible fine arts performances possible. So remember to wear a mask, sit only in the designated pews in the Sanctuary and stay home if you don’t feel well! Performances may be cancelled at a moment’s notice and the Chamber Music Series will do their best to keep the community informed if this does happen.
