Free Educational Seminar and Wedding Show for Soon-to-Be Brides and their Families

As with most brides, you are probably investing a lot more thought into your wedding than any event you’ve ever planned. Considering flowers, food, dresses, invitations, entertainment, and photography can be overwhelming when planning a wedding. As excited as you are, you might be feeling a bit stressed (rightfully so!). We’d love to help!

We are the Mid-South Wedding Association of Memphis, a non-profit group comprised of veteran wedding and event specialists who can help answer all of your questions (big and small). Our experience can help find the perfect fit of professional vendors, so that you can have the wedding of your dreams. We are hosting a FREE workshop, “Wedding University,” on Sunday, January 6th from 12:30 to 4:00 at the Hilton Memphis.

Choosing the right photographer (early in the process) can make all the difference in a wedding. The workshop will feature Cindy B. Thymius, a professional wedding photographer who has been working in the greater Memphis area for more than fifteen years. The workshop will be hosted by the Association’s president, Martie Watson of Travel Leaders Memphis, and feature special guests and vendors, like catering specialist Ryan Draper of Draper’s Catering, Hotshots Photo Booth, Elegant Chair Solutions, Memphis National, Dixon’s Printing, and Flowers Forever. Nugget from Q107.5 will also be there!

Brides: Don’t forget your groom! This year’s event will feature a special Groom’s Room that you won’t want to miss, as well as door prizes for the bride, groom, and bride’s maids. Additionally, the first 100 brides will receive a signature cocktail and “swag bag.” We will also be giving away a wonderful honeymoon from Travel Leaders Memphis, an Allure Wedding Dress, Grizzlies tickets, and more!
