Closed for adoptions as of March 24th until further noticeĀ 

In response to Covid-19 Collierville Animal Services will be following the recommendations of the CDC for social distancing and the recommendations of NACA the National Animal Control Association by implementing the following policies until further notice.

  • Only accept emergency intakes and will no longer accept owner surrenders. If you have an animal related emergency requiring immediate assistance please call police dispatch at 901-853-3207.
  • Collierville Animal Services will only impound animals that pose an immediate threat to the public safety or that need immediate medical care.
  • Any adoptions will be done by appointment only and after an application has been taken. We ask that you fill out an application online prior to calling to set up an appointment. You may do so by going to our website and following the links available. If there is an animal that you are interested in and would like more info please call the shelter. You may also see available dogs on our Facebook page, and our cats and dogs on Petfinder.com.
  • At this time we will not have any volunteer or community service orientations or training.
  • At this time we are not taking in any donations at the shelter.
  • We ask that you utilize social media for lost and found animals in your area those sites include but are not limited to: Collierville Germantown lost pets, Lost and found pets of the Midsouth, Nextdoor, Facebook, and Pawboost. You may continue to file lost reports thru our website as well by following the links.
