the
Collierville
Chamber of Commerce and
Culture,
Recreation & Tourism Commission
The
Collierville Culture, Recreation & Tourism
Commission is a program of the Collierville
Chamber of Commerce, a private, non-profit
organization that represents businesses area wide.
Our Chamber
membership is diverse, with representation
from manufacturing, retail, service and corporate
businesses ranging in size from sole proprietors
to larger international corporations. They share
a common notion that commerce will function at
its best when business relationships are forged
and resources are utilized to their fullest potential,
creating a partnership for prosperity.
In
2002 (subsequent to its Collierville 20/20
study), the Collierville Chamber launched
Collierville Tomorrow, a four-year economic
development initiative, garnering the support
of its membership and area business investors.
This new thrust conceived as a public and private
partnership would focus on the recruitment, development
and retention of businesses; provide for a new
chamber facility; and initiate a culture, recreation
and tourism program. In November 2003, the Chamber
launched the Collierville Culture, Recreation
& Tourism (CRT) Commission and hired its first
Director of CRT Development.
Each
day the marketing of Collierville as a travel,
recreation and cultural arts destination strengthens
and our amenities continue to develop. Located
just minutes from metropolitan Memphis
in progressive Shelby County, Tennessee; Collierville
provides visitors with an assortment of experiences.
Antiques, shopping, dining, outdoor recreation...the
list goes on.
We
hope that you will take time away from the hectic
pace and...get lost in Collierville!
